Our Step-by-Step Installation Process

Scheduling of your site visit with our Comfort Consultant (email recommended)- At Total Comfort Solutions, we know your time is valuable. We will schedule with you at your convenience. We promise to be on time and to take only the time agreed upon.

Comfort Consultant consultation- Our Comfort Consultant will have several questions for you to help you determine what system is right for you. We believe in educating the customer on efficiencies, warranties, rebates, noise levels, etc. to help make the most informed decision possible.

Review of options and pricing- Lennox offers a wide variety of equipment selections and pricing. We will do our best to customize a system specific to your comfort, needs, and budget.

Selection of system- It’s just that easy. Now sit back and leave everything up to us!

Scheduling of installation date- We will schedule around your schedule; we can start early or late and even work on weekends if that’s what it takes.

Scheduling of subcontractors (if needed)- We work with a variety of subcontractors from electricians and roofers to crane operators. It is part of our commitment to you to schedule the subcontractors to ensure a timely completion of your project.

Introduction of installation team- Our Comfort Consultant will arrive with our installation team and review all aspects of your project including where to park and the names of your pets.

Installation- Our installation team is a finely tuned machine. The team will go to extremes to protect your property. We use drop cloths on all floors and furnishings.

Call to schedule startup, final walk thru and final inspection- Our worry-free process begins and ends with our installation coordinator. Your installation coordinator will communicate with you to facilitate our official startup, final inspection by City/County Inspector and a final walk thru by our Comfort Consultant.

Startup- One of our factory trained service technicians will inspect and calibrate your system to insure the system is operating to factory specifications and peak efficiencies.

Registering of equipment warranty (email address needed)- As a service to our customers, we will register your equipment for warranty with the manufacturer. The manufacturer will email you a copy for your records. The equipment registration will also trigger a second email from the manufacturer, asking you to write a review on the manufacturers' website.

Generate utility rebate paperwork (email address needed)- The utility paperwork for each rebate can be very confusing. At Total Comfort Solutions, we complete the rebate forms for you. Your Comfort Consultant will provide you with the forms for your signature. We even provide a second copy for your records. Additionally, we will keep a copy in your file in case of any developments in the processing of your rebate.

Completion of manufacturer rebate paperwork (email address needed)- From time to time, Lennox will offer factory rebates. We do that paperwork for you as well. We will collect the proper paperwork, complete the forms and file them online for you. Lennox will send you an email confirming the receipt of the paperwork. You would then receive a rebate in about four to six weeks. It is that easy.

Final billing (email Recommended)- The final billing will be generated with any change orders or credits at this time.

Inspection- Most jurisdictions require a permit for the work that we do. Not all jobs require a permit but should your project require a permit, there will be a final inspection. We will do the best we can to communicate with you about the time and day of the inspection but we do not have any real say in the matter. Whenever possible someone from Total Comfort will meet the inspector at your home.

Final walk thru- Quality is of the utmost importance to us. We will conduct a quality review of your installation upon completion. At that time, we will review the system operation with you, such as the operation of the thermostat and cleaning and/or changing of your filter. All manuals will be conveniently located in a document holder next to your furnace. We will provide a copy and explain our annual maintenance agreement that is available to you. This is also another worry-free process. Once you sign up, we call you to schedule twice a year so you don’t have to remember to call us to get on the schedule.

Extra Steps We Take to Ensure Peace of Mind

Total Comfort Solutions will also review all rebate paperwork with you and ask you to sign them to assure complete compliance. A copy will be provided for your records and we will keep a copy on file.

We will also review your product registration and warranty and provide you with a copy. You should have also received an email copy from Lennox if you provided us an email address. Additionally, we will review your final billing or complete your finance paperwork and ask for payment.

We will then discuss our referral process with you and provide you with a referral card.

We also appreciate any feedback/input from you about our workmanship, procedures, employees, and overall customer service.
